headset plugged into the phone. The lead of the headset functions as the radio 
antenna, so let it hang freely.
You can make or answer a call while listening to the radio. Sending or receiving 
data over a (E)GPRS or HSCSD connection may interfere with the radio.
To access this menu: Press 
Menu
 in standby mode, and select 
Media
 and 
Radio
.
Note that the quality of the radio broadcast depends on the radio station’s 
coverage in your area.
1. To switch on the radio, press 
Menu
 in standby mode and select 
Media
 and 
Radio
.
2. If you have previously saved radio channels, scroll to the channel you want to 
listen to, or select the memory location of the channel by pressing the 
corresponding key (
 to 
).
If the compatible headset you are using has a headset key, you can scroll 
through the saved channels by pressing this key.
3. To turn the radio off, press 
Options
 and select 
Switch off
 in the 
Radio
 menu. 
OR: Press and hold 
 in any function or standby mode.
Tuning and saving a radio channel
When the radio is on, you can search for a radio channel in the following ways in 
the 
Radio
 menu and then save the desired channel for later use:
• Automatic search: Press and hold 
 or 
 to start the search. Searching stops 
when a channel is found. OR: Press 
Options
, select 
Automatic tuning
 and press 
 or 
 to start the search.
