6. Messages (Menu 2)
Within the 
Messages
 menu you can use various message 
functions related to voice, text and picture messages.
To access this menu: In standby mode, press 
 (
Menu
), scroll 
to 
Messages
, and press 
 (
Select
).
■ Writing and sending a text message (Menu 2-1)
You can send and receive multi-part messages, which consist of several ordinary 
text messages (network service). This may effect the invoicing of a message.
Before sending a message, make sure that the phone number of your message 
centre is stored in the phone (see 
). You can 
obtain this number from your service provider.
To exit from this menu at any time to standby mode, press and hold 
 twice. 
Alternatively: Press 
 (
Options
), choose 
Exit
, and press 
 (
OK
).
Note: When sending messages via the SMS network service, your phone may 
display the words 
Message sent
. This is an indication that the message has been 
sent by your phone to the message centre number programmed into your phone. 
This is not an indication that the message has been received at the intended 
destination. For more details about SMS services, check with your service provider.
