Note that to receive the best result, place the phone on a flat surface in a windless
environment preferably for 5 minutes.
Note: If your phone is being charged, the radio or an active call is on, the
thermometer shows no temperature.
Sound meter
The Sound meter can only measure the approximate level of the real dB level. The
phone displays a vertical meter bar that shows the noise level graphically. There is
also a numerical presentation of the sound level. The peak value is shown in a
frame on the top and the current value is presented underneath.
Note: It is not possible to measure the estimated noise level of a call in progress.
Also, you can not use Sound meter when a headset is connected.
When you press
Options
you get a list of four choices:
• With
Reset peak
you can reset the peak value.
• With
Hold peak
both values are shown but the peak value is updated only when
the current noise level is greater than the peak value.
• With
Dynamic peak
both values are shown but the peak value is valid only for 5
seconds
• With
Noise tuning
you can simulate the sensitivity of hearing mechanism for
different frequencies. You can choose between low noise (sounds < 85 dB) and
loud noise (sounds > 85 dB).
