Operating the device in hidden mode is a safer way to avoid malicious software. Do not
accept Bluetooth connectivity from sources you do not trust. Alternatively, switch off
the Bluetooth function. This does not affect other functions of the device.
Connect your PC to the internet
You can use Bluetooth technology to connect your compatible PC to the internet without
the Nokia Ovi Suite software. Your device must be able to connect to the internet
(network service), and your PC must support Bluetooth technology.
1 Make sure that your device can connect to the internet.
2 Pair your device with your PC using Bluetooth connectivity. Your device
automatically opens a packet data connection to the internet.
USB data cable
You can use the USB data cable to transfer data between your device and a compatible
PC or a printer supporting PictBridge.
Select USB mode
To activate the device for data transfer or image printing, connect the USB data cable,
and select from the following:
PC Suite  — Use Nokia PC Suite or Ovi Suite on your PC.
Printing & media  — Use your device with a PictBridge compatible printer or with a
