To switch between the different character cases and modes,
press the shift key.
To erase a character, press the backspace key. Press and hold
the backspace key to erase more than one character.
To access the most common punctuation marks, press the key
with the combination of punctuation marks repeatedly until
the desired punctuation mark is displayed.
To add special characters, press the symbol key.
To insert a space, press the space key. To insert a line break,
press the enter key.
Predictive text input
With predictive input, you can enter any letter with a single
keypress. Predictive text input is based on a built-in
dictionary.
To activate or deactivate predictive text input, select
Options

. The indicator 
 is displayed.
When you start writing a word, your device suggests possible
words. When the correct word is found, press the space key
(0) to confirm it and to add a space. While writing, you can
scroll down to access a list of suggested words. If the desired
word is on the list, select the word. If the ? character is
displayed after the word, the word you intended to write is
not in the dictionary. To add a word to the dictionary, select
Spell
, enter the word using traditional text input, and select
OK
. When the dictionary is full, the new word replaces the
oldest added word.

To search the contents of your mobile device, enter search
terms in the search field, or browse the content categories.
While you enter the search terms, the results are organised
into categories.
To search for web pages on the internet, select

your default internet search provider.
