4. Insert the (U)SIM card to the SIM card 
holder. Make sure that the (U)SIM card 
is properly inserted and that the 
gold-colored contact area on the card 
is facing downwards.
Close the SIM card holder, and press it 
until it snaps into position.
5. Replace the battery.
6. Slide the back cover into place.
■ Charge the battery
Connect the charger to the wall 
socket. Open the charger connector 
lid (1), and connect the charger plug 
to the charger connector in the 
phone (2).
If the battery is completely 
discharged, it may take a few 
minutes before the charging 
indicator appears on the display or 
before any calls can be made.
