• Pair a compatible mobile phone with your device. Your device needs
an external modem (phone), which is connected to your device with
Bluetooth wireless technology.
Bluetooth wireless technology
This device is compliant with Bluetooth Specification 1.2 supporting the
following profiles: Dial-Up Networking, File Transfer/Object Exchange,
Generic Access, SIM Access, and Serial Port.
There may be restrictions on using Bluetooth technology in some
locations. Check with your local authorities or service provider.
Features that use Bluetooth technology, or allowing such features to
run in the background while using other features, increase the demand
on battery power and reduce the battery life.
A Bluetooth connection does not require that the compatible phone and
the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet be in line of sight, but both devices should
be within 10 meters (32 feet) of each other. Connections can be subject
to interference from obstructions, such as walls or other electronic
devices.
Your device always operates in nondiscoverable and nonconnectable
mode, and is not visible to other devices through the Bluetooth
connection, unless you create such connection. Do not create
connections to Bluetooth devices you do not trust.
